I spent the weekend at Anime Central in Chicago, IL.  While there, I debuted my Akito costume from Martin Successor Nadesico and presented two panels on costume construction.  I hope that the panels were useful to those who attended and I had a great time presenting them!  Due to construction issues, I wasn't able to get Kaworu completed in time for the con (and was really looking forward to having it done).  I hope to finish it up and wear it later in the summer or early fall.   Due to the uncertainty in completing it, I didn't want to talk about it before the con but will now try and get some of the progress information for it updated.  After a couple day recovery I'm hoping to spend the long weekend working out plans for summer costumes so look forward to more info soon!
